Five for Friday!
Ok...Ok...I know it is technically not Friday anymore! I had
a very busy day yesterday and did not get a chance to do my Five for Friday!
So, I am using this Sensational Saturday to catch up and link up with Doodle
Bugs Teaching! Eeek! Here we go!
1.) My number one this week is the fact that I am out for
the summer! Thursday marked my last day and it was a 1/2 day to boot! I came home
and slept for about 3 hours and then woke up rejuvenated and ready to get my
summer on! First thing on the agenda? A celebratory dinner with my hubby at one
of my favorite restaurants...The Ice House!
2.) So, marking the end of the school year is so exciting.
What is more exciting is knowing that I have nowhere to be and I can turn my
alarm off for the next 2 months or so! I slept in until 10:00 today! That is a
heck of alot better than the 5:15 wake up call I am use to! What else that is
exciting? Being able to make some cute stuff for my TpT store without feeling
guilty! Usually, I come home from work and make things for my store and I get
the moans and groans from my husband because he demands all my attention
(typical). But, while hubby is off at work, the teacher gets to make whatever
she wish and takes her time doing it! I made this adorable game that is in my
TpT store. It is a common core sight word game using the Wizard of Oz. It is
adorable and I can't wait to play it with my new kindergarteners! Head over to
my store to check it out!
3.) My third thing for this "Friday" is my
excitement to be going to the beach for a few weeks. I absolutely can't wait to
relax, enjoy the water, and maybe even get a little tan! My husband has a
little over a week off starting June 20th, so we have started the countdown!
Sometimes, a change of scenery is nice. It is also nice to just get away!
4.) Coming in for my number four is my excitement to finally
have a chance to get my house in the order I want it to be in! We moved in
December 28th and I never really got the chance to truly decorate the way I
want to! I love all things shabby chic, so our house is overflowing with cute
decor that I need to find the perfect spot for! Here is something cute I
snatched up for $2.99 at Kirkland's the other day! I can't wait to spruce them
up with some flowers or candles!
5.) And last for my Five for Friday, I am really looking
forward to spending some quality time with my adorable 2 and 1/2 year old neice
and nephew this summer. They are the sweetest kids and I can't wait to do some
babysitting! I plan to drive up to their house sometime soon and have an
"extended stay." I'm sure their parents won't mind at all!
I know I am fashionably five minutes late...ok, ok, more
like a day late, but if you're feeling frisky, head on over to Doodle Bugs
Teaching, link up and share what you did on your Five for Friday!
